We played a round here on Sunday. I have not played here prior. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free small bucket of warm up balls prior to the round.
The staff here was exceptionally nice.
It was very windy during play. Be aware that there are a lot of water hazards on this course. While it is a bit shorter course and par 70, it is a very challenging layout. Most shots approaches need to be thought through before executing.
If you are up for a good challenge, this is the place to be, the grounds were very well maintained. I look forward to returning soon.
8/23 update. They are building a new clubhouse and renovating the old one in to a banquet hall. It all looks great. Be aware when you finish no 9 you have to back track through the course to get back to the clubhouse as the cart path is closed from there forward.
Paying as much as you are for this course you would expect it to be in decent shape. Greens are completely trashed, No chance at putting. literally Ruined the round for my group Memorial Day weekend. Lots of others courses about 15-20$ cheaper with exceptional greens/fairways.
it wasn’t just this hole, just about every hole looked worse or as bad. Would be nice to tell people about these issues before they spend time and money here. Telling me your greens will be fixed June 13 after my round does me no good.
Not a bad course. I'm not sure if anyone else has said anything but I think they overcharge golfers a bit. The course is fun and all, but the condition/quality of the course you'd think it would be a bit cheaper to play here.
Great local course that is well managed. Appreciate the small things:
-Free bucket of range balls
-New concrete cart paths
-All the water coolers were filled with cold water
-Marshall actively keeping pace of play up
-Number to call if you have any issues, or need something brought to you
Greens need some work, but overall great value for the price.
Super friendly staff, but as they are building a new club house it appears pricey have gone up already. 70 bucks for a round at a course that isn’t well maintained and at times is flooded.
It saddened me to write this, so excited to get out and play 18 booked online with T.O.. Understood cart path only because of rain. Everything great on first tee box, number 2 shut down from here It got worse pics are holes 5,6,7 front should be shut down. Back a breath of Fresh Air
My favorite Houston area course. Building a new clubhouse at the moment, which is exciting for the future. Best practice facilities with driving range, mats and grass, and short game area. The staff is helpful and courteous.
